Shipping Services and Prices

We use DHL for rapid World-Wide deliveries.

In the UK we also use Parcelforce and DHL

We do not subsidise or profit from shipping prices.

We don't use slow budget services or send items with inadequate protection.

We partner with other UK exporters to negotiate the lowest rates available for premium express services.

Shipping Costs - Calculated LIVE in the Shopping Cart

No need to log in to get your shipping quote, just choose the items you require on the site, choose your country flag in the header, then choose Guest Checkout to see the shipping options and prices. Most remote areas and islands are also covered by the shipping calculator.

Shipping Weights - The LRdirect website calculates shipping based on the weight of the products ordered and includes an allowance for packaging. We use the volumetric weight which is an adjusted weight used by carriers based upon the actual size of the item as well as the weight. Items which are large in size but not very heavy will usually have a higher volumetric weight than actual weight.

Please note: We are shipping over 170,000 different parts to 127 countries. In very rare cases where there is an error with the product weight or country settings we may ask you for extra shipping costs. If you do not accept the extra costs we will immediately cancel or refund any payment made.


UK & Europe

We have options for deliveries to all European countries.

All of our deliveries to European Countries are made by the above-named carriers and allocated based on the destination and the size of the order. The tracking details will be emailed to you at the time of despatch.

 

USA & Canada

Calculated live in the shopping cart, our delivery costs are very competitive. DHL are able to ship from the United Kingdom to most of North America within 4 days.

Worldwide

We have been exporting parts worldwide for over 20 years and we have gained an excellent reputation for the speed and efficiency of our service.

We are partnered with Global-E, a third party service acting as your seller on record, enabling you to buy and ship your LRDirect products to over 100 countries.

When you buy LRDirect products through Global-E, you will see that your payment method is charged by **Global-E/LRDirect** and the purchase is subject to Global-E's terms and conditions and privacy policy. These are clearly presented in the checkout before you confirm your order.

In partnership with Global-E we use DHL for shipping (see individual country pages for destinations, transit times) and parcels can be tracked from the moment they leave our warehouse.

Please note that we do not charge UK VAT on orders despatched directly outside the EU. Local import duties/taxes can usually be paid in our Global-E shopping cart but further customs clearance or storage charges are not included in the prices and must be paid for by the consignee.

Deliveries

As soon as your order has been shipped, the carrier will email you a confirmation which will include the parcel tracking number and the web address where you can track your parcel. You may also receive text message updates.

The estimated delivery times shown relate to 'Business Days' from despatch and exclude weekends and bank holidays. All delivery times are guides, we do not give guarantees on behalf of our couriers. Please note that the delivery driver may need assistance to unload large/heavy items and also please advise us if you would like to discuss any special delivery arrangements.

Please check your parcels

When you sign for a parcel being delivered, please inspect it carefully. If it has been damaged in transit or if looks as if it has been tampered with or re-packaged, you can mark the delivery note 'Parcel Damaged', before signing, or even refuse delivery in serious cases.

Each part is visually checked for condition before leaving our premises. However, we are reliant upon considerate handling by our carriers.

Some deliveries involve more than one parcel - please check that they have all been received and that you have signed for the correct quantity.

We must be advised within 48 hours of delivery of any shortages or damaged goods or parcels.

Loss In Transit

If your parcel does not arrive, we need to establish a claim with the carrier concerned before we are able to send a replacement consignment. This can be a lengthy process, and if your part is needed urgently, a second order can be paid for to save time. We will then refund your first order as soon as the carrier accepts liability.
