RUC105200 is a 24-spline drive flange fitted to the front and rear axle assemblies of Defender models. The flange transmits torque between the driveshaft and axle hub while locating the driveshaft axially; the 24 splines must match the corresponding driveshaft or hub splines to ensure positive mechanical engagement and correct load transfer. During removal or installation the flange position and spline engagement determine driveshaft alignment, and worn or damaged splines will cause driveline noise, vibration or potential loss of drive.
