PQG500250 is a tensioner pulley for the auxiliary drive belt on vehicles fitted with the 2.7 TDV6 engine. Fitted as the larger lower tensioner in the accessory drive, the unit maintains correct belt tension and routing to ensure reliable operation of driven accessories and proper belt alignment.
The PQG500250 uses a spring-loaded mechanism to apply constant pressure to the auxiliary drive belt, controlling belt wrap and compensating for normal belt wear to help prevent belt slip or mis-tracking during engine operation.
Please note: When replacing this tensioner replace the drive belt as well; the drive belt part number is PQS500370.
