Land Rover Part Number: AMR2938 - A127 Alternator - 120 Amp - V8
AMR2938 is an A127 alternator rated at 120 amps for V8 applications. Fitted to the charging system of Rover V8 EFI engines, it converts engine mechanical energy into electrical power to charge the vehicle battery and supply engine management, lighting and accessory circuits. The unit uses the standard A127 mounting and electrical connections fitted to Range Rover P38 V8 installations; the alternator terminal cover is available separately under part number AMR3413. Check drive belt alignment and electrical connections when replacing the unit to avoid charging faults or premature wear of the replacement alternator.
Please note: Battery must be fully recharged before fitting this new alternator. Failure to do so may affect any future warranty claim.
