AMR3677 is a tailgate wiring harness that routes the vehicle body wiring into the tailgate and provides the interface for the tailgate's electrical components. The harness comprises insulated conductors and multi-pin connectors which join the main body loom to the tailgate fittings; protective sleeving and grommeted passages are fitted where the harness passes through the tailgate aperture to prevent chafing. Fitted to Defender tailgates, the harness carries signal and power circuits required for the rear lamps and the locking actuator and includes grounding connections back to the vehicle body.
