AMR6244 is a lambda sensor used to measure exhaust oxygen on Rover V8 multi-point injection petrol engines. It monitors oxygen concentration in the exhaust and provides a voltage signal to the engine management system so closed-loop fuel control can be maintained, allowing the ECU to adjust injector timing and duration to keep the correct air-fuel ratio for engines fitted with catalytic converters.
