ANR2003 is a power assisted steering pump assembly for 3.5L Rover V8 engines fitted to Defender and Range Rover Classic models. The assembly mounts to the engine and is driven from the V-belt; it pressurises steering fluid to provide hydraulic assistance at the steering wheel. The unit includes the pulley interface and mounting points to match the original routing and belt run for the 3.5L V8 installation. When replacing the pump ensure correct pulley alignment and belt tension to avoid premature wear and steering noise.
