ANR2620 is a rubber engine mount that secures the engine to the chassis subframe and reduces vibration transmission for 2.5 Diesel (BMW M51) and Petrol V8 L/R EFI installations. The mount locates the engine within the mounting framework and absorbs engine movement under load, isolating vibration and restraining movement to reduce transmission of engine vibration into the vehicle structure and passenger compartment. Correct replacement limits abnormal movement during acceleration, deceleration and gear changes, and helps preserve alignment of connected components such as exhaust and intake pipework.
