Land Rover Part Number: ANR2819 - Right-Hand Rubber Transmission Mount
ANR2819 is a right-hand rubber transmission mount fitted to the right side of the gearbox. The mount locates the gearbox relative to the chassis while supporting the transmission and damping movement and driveline vibration; the rubber element reduces noise and harshness by isolating geartrain oscillations from the vehicle body and limits lateral and rotational movement when torque is applied. On V8-equipped Defender and Discovery 1 models it positions the transmission mounting point on the right-hand side; on the Range Rover Classic fitted to the specified 2.5L Turbo Diesel VM vehicles it performs an equivalent role at the rear engine/transmission mount interface. Regular inspection for rubber degradation, cracks or mounting-plate damage is advisable where driveline noise or abnormal movement is noticed.
