ANR4189 is a bottom link bump stop for the rear suspension. Fitted to the rear bottom link, the bump stop limits suspension travel and prevents metal-to-metal contact at full compression. It cushions the impact at full compression, reducing shock loads transmitted to suspension bushes and link mounts during heavy loading or large wheel articulation. The component is used on rear suspension bottom link assemblies found on older Land Rover models where a dedicated rebound/stop element is fitted.
