BTP1823S is a radiator with an integral oil cooler assembly fitted to 200Tdi engines with a manual gearbox. The assembly combines a conventional coolant radiator core with a separate internal oil cooler core to control both coolant and engine-oil temperatures: the radiator dissipates heat from the engine coolant while the built-in oil cooler routes engine oil through its own core to reduce oil temperature. Because the oil cooler is integrated into the radiator, careful alignment of the oil cooler pipework is essential during refit to avoid leaks; inspect hose connections and pipe seals after installation for any seepage.
Please note: This radiator has the oil cooler built in; always take care when refitting the oil cooler pipes as they are prone to leaking if not fitted perfectly square. If you require the 300Tdi version, use part number BTP2275.
