BTP2275 is a Radiator & Oil Cooler Assembly fitted to the cooling system of 300Tdi engines. The unit mounts into the standard radiator location and incorporates an integral oil cooler, using an aluminium core with plastic tanks to remove heat from engine coolant while providing an oil-to-coolant heat-exchange path to help control engine oil temperature. This combined assembly replaces the separate radiator and oil cooler arrangement on 300Tdi Defender, Discovery 1 and Range Rover Classic models and reduces the number of separate connections; routine inspection of oil cooler pipe alignment and hose connections after refit is recommended to avoid leaks.
Please note: This radiator has the oil cooler built in; when refitting the oil cooler pipes ensure they are perfectly square to avoid leaks as misalignment can cause oil leaks. For vehicles fitted with the 200Tdi engine use part number BTP1823. Use the compatibility data below to confirm fitment against your V.I.N.
