BTR4348 is an active front lap seat belt assembly fitted to the centre front seating position. The assembly contains the lap webbing, retractor mechanism and the mounting interfaces that attach to the vehicle structure. Under rapid deceleration the retractor locks webbing travel to limit forward movement of the pelvis and reduce load transfer to the occupant.
