Land Rover Part Number: DA1182 - Stripped Engine (Defender 2.4 TDCi Puma)
DA1182 is a stripped 2.4 TDCi “Puma” engine assembly for Land Rover Defender. It is supplied with the sump, block, cylinder head, rocker cover, inner timing cover, camshaft and crankshaft gear to provide a ready-to-build base unit.
Please note: The supplied Ford-specification sump must be replaced with the Land Rover-specification sump (LR007598) prior to installation.
What does DA1182 do?
The DA1182 stripped engine provides the core rotating and structural components of the 2.4 TDCi power unit for Defender. Installing this assembly restores a worn or failed engine to a serviceable base, onto which ancillary components (injection, manifolds, ancillaries) can be transferred to complete the build.
