DA2357HD is a heavy-duty clutch conversion for Td5-powered Land Rovers, replacing the original dual-mass flywheel with a one-piece single-mass flywheel, matched heavy-duty clutch cover and plate, and the correct release bearing for the kit.
Please note: Converting from a dual-mass to a single-mass flywheel typically increases gearbox/idle chatter and driveline NVH. Use only the supplied/specified release bearing and components—do not mix with OE dual-mass parts.
What does DA2357HD do?
The DA2357HD kit improves durability under heavy use by eliminating the rubber-damped dual-mass mechanism and coupling the crankshaft to the gearbox via a single-piece flywheel. The tougher friction materials and higher clamp-load cover maintain drive under load and heat, though with a trade-off in refinement at low rpm.
