Land Rover Part Number: DA2780 - Front Parabolic Spring & Shock Kit (SWB/LWB)
DA2780 is a front suspension kit for classic Land Rover Series models, pairing 2-leaf parabolic front springs with long-travel dampers and supplied angle/caster correction wedges to improve ride compliance and control on both short- and long-wheelbase vehicles.
Please note: Use wedges only after measuring caster/pin angles—many vehicles do not require them. Renew corroded U-bolts and torque all fasteners to specification, then re-torque after initial mileage.
What does DA2780 do?
The DA2780 kit replaces factory front leaf springs and shocks with parabolic leaves and matched dampers. Parabolic leaves flex more freely than multi-leaf packs, reducing harshness while maintaining load capability; the dampers control rebound to keep the vehicle stable on- and off-road.
