ERC5654 is a coolant bypass hose fitted to the engine cooling system on 4-cylinder 2.25 and 2.5 petrol and diesel engines produced before the 200Tdi. The hose provides a bypass path for coolant around the water pump during warm-up, allowing correct circulation until normal coolant flow is established.
