ERC6341 is a rocker shaft. Fitted in the cylinder head of 2.25L and 2.5L four-cylinder petrol and diesel engines used on Series 2, Series 3 and Defender models, the shaft locates and supports the rocker arms and provides a fixed pivot for them. It maintains rocker geometry and alignment under valve spring loads and during cam action, ensuring consistent valve lift and timing across each cylinder.
