ERC9188 is a Cylinder Liner & Piston Kit. It supplies cylinder liners, pistons, piston pins and piston rings for the cylinder block of 2.5L 4-cylinder naturally aspirated diesel engines. The kit is intended for engine rebuilds where bore wear, piston damage or ring failure require renewal; replacing worn liners restores correct bore geometry, while matched pistons, pins and rings re-establish piston-to-bore clearances and compression sealing. Supplied as matched sets to maintain correct axial and radial location within the cylinder block, the kit controls combustion sealing and oil control across the piston rings.
