ERC9448 is a cylinder head blanking plug for 4-cylinder pre-Tdi engines. It fits 2.25L 4-cylinder petrol and pre-Tdi 2.5L diesel engines; it will not fit Tdi engines. Inspect the cylinder head mating face and the plug for damage before installation and replace the plug if any defects are found.
