Land Rover Part Number: ERR1201 - Left-Hand Inlet Valve Rocker Arm Assembly
ERR1201 is a left-hand inlet valve rocker arm and bush assembly fitted to the rockershaft of 200Tdi cylinder heads. It provides the contact and bearing surface for the inlet valve and transfers camshaft motion, via the rockershaft, to operate the inlet valve. The fitted bush forms the rotating bearing surface between the rocker and rockershaft, maintaining alignment and reducing wear; any wear to the bush or the rocker contact face can alter valve lift and timing and should be corrected by replacement. This assembly is used on Land Rover 200Tdi engines fitted to Defender, Discovery 1 and Range Rover Classic models.

The pressed-in bush provides the rotating bearing surface between the rocker and rockershaft, maintaining alignment and reducing wear; when the bush or rocker contact face is worn it can change inlet valve lift and timing, requiring replacement.
