Land Rover Part Number: ERR1471 - Crankcase Oil Breather - Oil Vapour Separator
ERR1471 is a crankcase oil breather (oil vapour separator) used on 4-cylinder diesel engines up to and including the 300Tdi. Fitted to the side of the engine, it separates oil mist from crankcase vapour so that condensed oil drains back into the sump while venting air to the inlet; a blocked or faulty unit can allow oil to be drawn into the intake and cause smoking or fouled intake components.
Please note: Not for use with VM TD diesel models.
