Land Rover Part Number: ERR2530 - Timing Belt Tensioner
ERR2530 is a timing belt tensioner fitted to the timing drive of 2.5L 200Tdi engines. This pulley assembly applies and maintains the correct running tension to the timing belt so the belt reliably engages the camshaft and crankshaft sprockets, reducing the risk of belt slip, uneven wear and timing drift that can affect valve timing. When replacing the timing belt on 200Tdi engines the tensioner is commonly renewed together with the belt and its retaining bolt to restore correct belt geometry and running behaviour.
