Land Rover Part Number: ERR3342 - Left-Hand Rocker Arm
ERR3342 is a left-hand rocker arm fitted to the left-hand side of the cylinder head on 2.5L 300Tdi engines. The rocker arm mounts on the rocker shaft and pivots on a bush to transfer camshaft motion from the cam follower to the valve stem, opening and closing inlet and exhaust valves. Wear or damage to the arm or its bush alters valve clearance and contact geometry, which can cause valve train noise, reduce combustion performance or affect valve seating; replacing the rocker arm assembly restores correct rocker-to-valve contact and allows valve clearances to be re-established during reassembly.
Use the compatibility data below to confirm fitment against your V.I.N.

Frequently Asked Questions
The left-hand rocker arm converts camshaft motion into valve movement on the 2.5L 300Tdi cylinder head. It pivots on its bush on the rocker shaft and transmits lift from the cam follower to the valve stem; wear or damage alters valve clearance and contact geometry, which can cause valve train noise, reduced combustion performance or poor valve seating. Replacing the arm restores correct contact geometry and permits correct valve clearances to be set during reassembly.

Inspect rocker arms during major engine servicing or if valve train noise, loss of performance or incorrect valve seating is observed; replace the arm if there is excessive wear, play, scoring or a damaged bush, and always recheck valve clearances after fitting.
