ERR3920 is a Clutch Housing Assembly. It locates the flywheel and clutch assembly to the engine crankcase and forms the mounting interface for the gearbox input shaft. Fitted between the engine and gearbox, the housing provides the flange for the bellhousing, carries the bearing support for the gearbox input shaft and maintains the correct axial spacing for the clutch friction and pressure plates. Correct installation and alignment are essential to avoid clutch judder, accelerated input-bearing wear or difficulty selecting gears; standard alignment and torque procedures should be followed by a competent technician.
