ERR4633 is an engine oil sump fitted to the underside of the engine on 3.5L V8 Twin Carb and 4.0L V8 EFI petrol engines. The sump collects oil draining from the crankcase and forms the reservoir accessed by the oil pump pickup, provides the mounting face for the oil drain plug and the joint face that seals to the lower engine block, and is matched to the underside mounting and drain locations used on the compatible Defender, Discovery 1 and Range Rover Classic models listed below.
