ERR4740 is an ignition distributor fitted to V8 EFI petrol engines. Fitted to the ignition system, the assembly routes timed high-voltage pulses from the ignition coil to each spark plug in the correct firing sequence; it houses the rotor and distributor cap and interfaces with the engine drive to maintain correct rotational timing.
