ERR4960 is a radiator fan blade for V8 EFi engines. Mounted to the viscous drive on Discovery 2 and Range Rover P38 V8 EFi vehicles, the blade draws air through the radiator to help remove heat from the engine coolant; it is driven by the viscous coupling and increases airflow as engine temperature rises and the drive engages. Correct blade condition and balance are important for stable operation and to avoid undue load on the viscous coupling and drive assembly.
