ERR5198 is a Mass Air Flow Sensor for Rover EFi V8 engines. Fitted in the intake air path upstream of the throttle body, the sensor measures the volume or mass of air entering the engine and provides a real-time signal to the engine management unit so fuel quantity and ignition timing can be calculated and adjusted for prevailing load and airflow conditions.
