ERR6438 is a front engine cover for V8 engines. Fitted over the cylinder head on 4.0 and 4.6 V8 engines, the cover conceals valve train components, groups minor hoses and electrical leads under a single moulding to reduce visual clutter, and provides some acoustic damping. It locates to existing engine mounting points for a secure fit; replacing a damaged or missing cover restores the under-bonnet presentation and helps maintain routed services in their intended positions.
