ERR6768 | Exhaust Manifold to Turbo Gasket - Td5 | Defender, Discovery 2

ERR6768 seals the flange between the exhaust manifold and turbocharger on Td5 engines to prevent exhaust gas leaks at that joint. A failed gasket can cause exhaust noise, visible soot or hot gas escape at the flange, and can affect turbocharger performance; replace if leakage is present. If manifold studs or nuts are corroded during removal, fit new studs ERR551L and nuts ESR2033.

Replace the gasket if there is an exhaust leak at the manifold-to-turbo flange, visible soot or hot gas escape, or during removal/installation of the turbocharger or exhaust manifold. Inspect the joint whenever the turbo or manifold is serviced and renew the gasket if any deterioration or leakage is found.
