Fitted to Defender and Discovery 2 models with the 2.5L 5-cylinder turbo diesel (Td5), it supplies up to 120 A to the vehicle electrical system and recharges the battery while the engine runs. The assembly includes the brake vacuum pump used for brake assistance on vehicles configured with engine-driven vacuum supply. Installation replaces the engine-driven charging assembly and must connect to the vehicle's existing charging and battery circuits; correct mounting and pulley alignment are essential for proper belt drive operation.
Please note: Battery must be fully recharged before fitting this new alternator. Failure to do so may affect any future warranty claim.
