ERR7146 | Front Engine Cover - 2.5L I4 300Tdi Diesel Turbo | Defender 1987-2006

ERR7146 shields the timing belt and associated pulleys from dirt, debris and oil contamination while keeping the timing components correctly located. It interfaces with the front oil seal and gasket to preserve a sealed timing area and correct belt routing, and must be removed to access the belt, tensioner and timing marks during service. Any damage to the cover can allow contamination or misalignment, so replacement is recommended if the cover is cracked or warped.
