Land Rover Part Number: ERR744 - Ignition Distributor
ERR744 is an ignition distributor fitted to the ignition system of Range Rover Classic petrol V8 engines with L/R EFI. The distributor directs high-voltage pulses from the ignition coil to each spark plug in the correct firing order via a rotating rotor inside the distributor cap, timing ignition to engine rotation and interfacing with the engine's ignition circuit to sequence firing across all cylinders. Routine replacement may be required where wear, cracked caps or degraded contacts cause misfiring or poor running.
