ERR913 is a T-shaped packing strip for the cylinder block, fitted to the rear main cap area on 200Tdi and 300Tdi engines. It locates in the machined groove at the rear of the block to help seal the crankcase and reduce the risk of oil leaks from the rear main cap. Inspect the strip for damage or hardening whenever the engine rear area is accessed during servicing.
