ESR3059 is a twin exhaust downpipe with an integrated catalytic converter, fitted to V8 petrol exhaust systems on Discovery 1 and Range Rover Classic models. This assembly routes exhaust gases from the engine into the catalytic converter and on to the remainder of the exhaust system, and includes the connection flanges and mounting points required to join the engine exhaust outlets to the front exhaust piping. Fitted ahead of the main underbody exhaust and positioned close to the engine, the catalytic element reduces regulated pollutants and reaches operating temperature quickly to meet emission control requirements.
