Land Rover Part Number: ESR3195 - Intermediate Exhaust Silencer
ESR3195 is an intermediate exhaust silencer. Fitted centrally in the exhaust system of V8 petrol Range Rover P38 models, this assembly dampens noise and reduces resonant tones between the front exhaust components and the rear silencer, and it routes exhaust gases between the catalytic converter or front pipe and the rear muffler. The unit mounts to the underside of the vehicle using standard exhaust hangers and connects to adjoining pipework with flanges or clamps to maintain alignment and clearance beneath the vehicle. Replacement restores expected exhaust routing and noise characteristics and prevents exhaust leaks that can occur from corrosion or damage to the central box.
Please note: This part fits V8 petrol engines with or without a catalyst. For catalytic models, applicability is to VIN VA376579.
