ESR4526 is an Exhaust Silencer - Intermediate Pipe fitted as the centre box on 90 inch wheelbase Defender models with the 300Tdi engine (2.5-litre 4-cylinder TDi, from VIN TA999222). Installed in the underbody exhaust run, this centre silencer links the front and rear sections of the system and completes the exhaust routing for the 2.5-litre TDi engine.
The centre silencer reduces engine noise levels and guides exhaust gases toward the rear silencer and tailpipe.
