ETC4022 is an oil filter thermostat adaptor for 4-cylinder petrol and diesel models up to and including the 200Tdi. It fits to the oil filter housing and, as a flange-mounted adaptor, provides the connection between the oil filter thermostat and the oil cooler or cooler hose on applicable 4-cylinder Defender and Discovery 1 engines.

ETC4022 provides the flange-mounted connection between the oil filter thermostat and the oil cooler or cooler hose on applicable 4-cylinder engines up to and including the 200Tdi. It mounts to the oil filter housing and allows oil to be routed to the cooler when required; inspect the flange seal and hose connection during servicing and replace the adaptor if it is damaged or leaking.
