ETC4922 is an oil gallery plug fitted into the oil gallery of the cylinder block on 2.5L 200 Tdi and 300 Tdi engines. It seals an access port in the block to prevent oil loss and to help maintain oil pressure; the plug should be inspected for signs of leakage or damage during routine engine servicing.
