Land Rover Part Number: ETC5064 - Front Camshaft Oil Seal
ETC5064 is a front camshaft oil seal fitted to the front cover of 2.5L 4-cylinder diesel engines on Defender, Discovery 1 and Range Rover Classic models. The seal prevents engine oil escaping where the camshaft exits the front/timing cover; if the seal perishes, becomes torn or hardens it will allow oil leaks and should be replaced. Inspect the seal whenever the front cover is removed or if oil is visible at the front of the engine.
