ETC7238 is a viscous coupling cooling fan unit fitted to 2.5L Turbo Diesel engines. It controls the drive to the engine cooling fan by allowing the fan speed to vary with thermal and load conditions, mounting between the water pump or fan drive and the fan assembly where variable engagement is required.
