Land Rover Part Number: ETC7333 - Timing Belt - 2.5 Diesel Naturally Aspirated & Turbo Diesel
ETC7333 is a timing belt for 2.5 Diesel naturally aspirated and 2.5 Turbo Diesel Defender engines. Fitted to the engine timing system, this belt synchronises crankshaft and camshaft rotation on 2.5L 4-cylinder diesel engines to maintain correct valve timing. The belt transfers rotational motion from the crankshaft to the camshaft(s) and runs around the crankshaft pulley, camshaft pulley and idler/tensioner components; it must be installed with the correct tension and alignment. A worn, slipped or broken belt can cause loss of valve timing and may result in significant engine damage on interference engines, so regular inspection for wear, glazing, cracking or missing teeth is recommended and replacement should follow service intervals or if any damage is visible.
Please note: This will not fit TDI engines; for 200Tdi timing belt use part number ETC8550.
