ETC7553L is a 7-blade cooling fan assembly for the viscous fan drive used on 3.5L V8 twin-carb petrol engines. Fitted to Defender and Discovery 1 applications, this fan moves ambient air through the radiator and condenser when vehicle speed is insufficient for passive airflow. The seven-blade profile is matched to the viscous coupling to provide the correct airflow and rotational inertia; correct blade count, diameter and mounting interface are required to maintain designed clearance and avoid interference with the radiator shroud and surrounding components.
