FN112056 is an M12 flanged hex nut. Fitted to engine mountings and front suspension strut assemblies, it secures the mounting studs and uses its integral flange to help distribute load and reduce point loading. Also referred to as an M12 flange nut, this item should be inspected for thread damage, distortion or corrosion and replaced if compromised; always fit to the correct stud and tighten to the manufacturer's specified torque.
