FTC1791 is a 5th speed mainshaft gear for the LT77 5-speed manual gearbox used in 4 cylinder applications. Fitted on the mainshaft, this gear meshes with the corresponding 5th gear cluster on the layshaft and synchroniser assembly to establish the final drive ratio for overrun or highway speeds and to transfer torque to the output shaft when fifth gear is selected.
