FTC2396 is a synchroniser ring for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th gears. Fitted to the mainshaft synchroniser assembly of the R380 5-speed manual gearbox, this ring provides the friction surface that allows the gear and mainshaft to match speeds for smooth engagement and to reduce gear clash during shifting.
