FTC3271 is a rear half shaft, left hand, 24 spline, fitted with an integral drive flange. Fitted to the rear axle, the shaft transfers drive torque from the rear differential to the left-hand wheel hub, locates the wheel hub within the axle assembly and carries radial and axial loads from the wheel bearing and suspension. The integral drive flange provides the mechanical interface with the differential pinion flange; correct spline count and left-hand orientation are required for proper engagement on 24-spline rear drivetrains.
