FTC5105 is a swivel pin housing that forms the outer housing for the swivel pin bearing in the front axle drive-shaft assembly on vehicles fitted with four-wheel anti-lock braking systems. It accepts the swivel pin bearing and locates the drive-shaft stub within the front hub and knuckle assembly, transferring steering and suspension loads into the axle while providing a sealed mounting surface for the bearing and associated seals. The correct internal bore and mounting faces maintain bearing alignment and preload; bearings, seals and swivel pins are separate service items. This swivel housing replaces part number FRC2644.
