IAB100030E is an LT230 transfer box with a 1.4:1 low-range ratio, supplied reconditioned. Fitted as a gearbox-mounted transfer assembly, the unit converts drive from the transmission to both front and rear axles and provides a dedicated low-range reduction for demanding traction or low-speed work. The LT230 contains the chain, sprockets and gearset that select overall drive distribution and the 1.4:1 low-range reduction; in normal use it distributes torque to the front and rear differentials and, when low range is engaged, increases torque at the wheels for climbing, towing or controlled off-road crawling. This reconditioned unit has been dismantled and refurbished to restore gear and bearing condition while retaining the LT230 configuration and low-range ratio. Where vehicle build or VIN limitations apply, confirm the matching input/output flange and mounting arrangement prior to installation.
